Service Requirements

Please have the following items ready for your Get Acquainted visit.

  1. Copies of your pet's health records, including a negative fecal exam for dog boarding and daycare.
  2. Emergency contact information for yourself and two other contacts.
  3. If we will be coming to your home to service your pet we will need two sets of keys. Please be sure to test the keys with the door closed and locked.

Requirements for Day Care, Home Style Boarding, Doggie Adventures and Playschool™

    Vaccines: (or titers equivalent)

    • Required: Rabies, DHPPV.
    • Optional: Bordatella, Leptospirosa and Giardia. Check with your veterinarian for their recommendation.

    Parasites:

    • IMPORTANT: All pets must be proven free of parasites through a fecal examination within 6 months prior to admission. This is mandated by the Health Dept.
  2. You must confirm that your dog:
    • Is in good health and free from any contagious disease.
    • Is house trained and not excessively destructive.
    • Has no history of aggression toward people or other dogs.
    • Is not a nuisance or continual barker or digger.
  3. Please bring with your dog:
    • a collar with ID name tags and current license issued from the state or county of residence. King County Pet Licensing.
    • Sufficient food and treats for the duration of their stay.
    • Any medications or supplements they may require.
    • We provide bowls, beds and toys. If your dog has a favorite blanket or other comfort object please feel free to bring it. We have a variety of crates available for dogs who prefer to sleep in a crate.

Requirements for Pet Sitting and Dog Walking

  1. Dog Walking: a collar with ID name tags and current license issued from the state or county of residence. King County Pet Licensing.
  2. Two sets of keys- please be sure to test the keys with the door closed and locked.
  3. Please review this Checklist for suggested items to leave out for your Pet Sitter, such as paper towels, cleaning supplies, medicines, etc.
  4. Please read and follow instructions on the Visitor's Notice for anyone who will be visiting the home while you're away.

Doggie Adventures

All dogs must be evaluated for temperament before participating in group play. We take care to place dogs in compatible groups according to age, size and play style. Dogs are directly supervised by Pet Care Specialists at all times. Our dog play groups are typically 2-4 dogs, and do not exceed 6 dogs per handler.

To participate, each dog must have no history of aggression and be in good health. All dogs must present the required veterinary records listed above. For off leash play at the Dog Park and Field Trips dogs must have good recall. Ask your vet if vaccination against Giardia and/or Leptospirosis is recommended for your dog.

Puppies:
We abide by the ASVAB Position Statement regarding early socialization for puppies.

Pet Sitting - Minimum Visits

In order to better provide for the safety and security of your beloved pets and your home we require that cats be visited at least once every 24 hours and dogs at least twice daily.

Special Needs Pets

Sick pets: We're happy to administer simple meds and other special care for aging and special needs pets, as per written instructions from a qualified veterinarian. There is no charge for medications given in food or water. Fees for medications that must be administered directly by the pet sitter (meds given orally, or trans dermal injections) will be added to the visit fee.
Aggressive pets: We can help you understand, manage or even reverse your pet's aggressiveness. Please contact us for a consultation.

Inclement Weather

If conditions are deemed to be unsafe or extremely uncomfortable for the pet(s), it may be necessary to limit outdoor time and spend more time indoors. No Worries 4 Pets reserves the right to exercise their best judgment when caring for animals in inclement whether conditions.

If you will not be needing services due to snowy or icy conditions, please inform our office no later than 9:00 am on the day service is scheduled.

Emergencies

If your Pet Care Specialist is unable to perform the requested services due to illness, injury, or some other unforeseen event, a replacement will be assigned. In the unlikely event No Worries 4 Pets is unable to send a replacement, you or your emergency contact person will be notified as soon as possible.

It is suggested that arrangements be made with someone to evacuate your pet(s) in case of a disaster, weather related crisis or "Code Red”. No Worries 4 Pets will endeavor to secure the pet’s safety should such events occur, but cannot guarantee or be held responsible for it.

Refusal of Service

No Worries 4 Pets reserves the right to refuse service to any client that does not meet our minimum standard of pet care, including adequate food, water, shelter, medical treatment, cleanliness and comfortable confinement. Neither do we condone or engage in any activities we feel are harsh, abusive, unsafe, neglectful or painful.We will happily offer education and assistance to pet owners seeking to rectify any of the above situations. We are, however, obligated as pet care professionals to report unresolved situations of severe neglect and/or abuse to the proper authorities.

Reservations

For your convenience, reservations can be made online, by phone or by email.

Boarding and Vacation Pet Care
A deposit equal to 50% of the total fee for services booked is required to hold a reservation. This fee is credited to the final invoice. If the reservation is cancelled, the deposit fee will be applied according to the cancellation schedule listed below.

Payment

Payment is due at or before the time of service. Credit/Debit card payments can be made through our secure online system. Checks will be accepted only with prior approval by our office. Cash payments will only be accepted when made in person, in our office. There will be a $34 service charge for each returned check. Please note that unpaid service may result in cancellation of service, with or without notice, including prior to or during the service period.

Cancellations, Credits and Refunds

In order to give all our clients the best availability we respectfully request that cancellations be made as early as possible. Cancellations can be made by email or by phone.

Regular (Off Peak) Times
0-24 hours Payment in full is charged. No credits or refunds.
24-48 hours 20% of service total is due; 80% refund.
3+days No charge, full refund.
Holidays / Peak Times
0 to 7 days Payment in full is charged. No credits or refunds.
8 to 14 days 50% of service total is due; 50% credit voucher.
15 to 21 days 20% of service total is due; 80% refund.
3+ weeks No charge. Full refund.

All Other Services

0-24 hours Payment in full is charged. No credits or refunds.
Holidays / Peak Times
0 to 48 hours Payment in full is charged. No credits or refunds.

Keys

At the time of your initial consultation, we will collect two sets of keys from you, one to be used by the Pet Care Specialist and a second set to be retained in a secure location as an emergency backup. If only one set of keys is supplied by the homeowner we'll gladly make a second copy key for a $5 convenience fee. To protect your security, keys will be marked with a code known only to No Worries 4 Pets and your assigned Pet Care Specialist. Keys that are not currently in use are stored in a secure area. Please be sure to test your keys with the door shut and locked before you give them to us.

Ready Key Service
No Worries 4 Pets offers complimentary Ready Key Service as a convenience for busy pet owners who are frequent travelers or who use our services on an ongoing basis. Today's hectic schedules don't always allow time for you to get the needed keys to us. By keeping your key securely on file in our office we'll be able to provide service to your pets in an emergency or at times when you're unable to give us much advance notice. We can even bring a key to you if you get locked out yourself!

New clients are automatically enrolled in our Ready Key Service, with both sets of keys on file for future visits. You may request the return of your keys at any time. If you choose to discontinue using our Ready Key Service there is a $10 service fee for any future key pick-ups and/or drop offs. Holidays are subject to an additional $15 per visit surcharge.

Security and Privacy

It is the policy of No Worries 4 Pets to protect the privacy and personal information of our clients as diligently as if it were our own. Personal information, including the client's name, phone number, address, email, or pet's information, will not be disclosed to any third parties without expressed consent of the client.We take precautions ensure our client's absence from home is not detected due to any careless actions or disclosures by the sitter. We respect our client's privacy and will restrict our activities to those areas we need to access in order to take care of your pets.

Household Tasks

Certain household tasks are included in the standard service rate. Additional tasks can be requested at the time you make your service reservations. However, our primary intent is to focus on your pets. If the requested tasks require more than 10 minutes to perform, the client will be billed at the rate of $30/hour.

Late or Early Arrival

Pet Sitting
Late: For your pet’s safety and well-being, please be sure to let No Worries 4 Pets know if you’ll be returning home later than expected. Your pet can’t tell us if something unexpected happens, so we worry if we don’t hear from you! We want to be sure they are well taken care of as long as you are away. If necessary, we'll make additional visits and/or stay longer in the home to be sure your pet is taken care of until you arrive. Standard service rates apply.

Early: Reservations are made to plan our Pet Care Specialist’s availability to clients. Therefore, clients returning home early will be charged for the reserved amount of time scheduled, including travel time and scheduled Special Service Requests not performed.

Holidays

A surcharge will be added to the regular service rate for all visits according to the following schedule. This fee will be paid directly to the Pet Care Specialist as an incentive for working on the holidays.
